Dear friends. Just a short note to inform you that myself and Sam are currently in the process of makng a new record. We’ve been working remotely via the miracle of the internet, collaborating with some fine musicians including Robin Jax (of RobinPlaysChords) and Orlando Harrison (of Alabama 3, The Amal Gamal Ensemble and others).
The new project/band is, as yet, un-named (any suggestions are welcome!) but it’s becoming far more richly orchestrated and sonically luxurious than our previous adventures as The Infinite Three.
If there’s an interest or desire from your good selves I may post some unadorned demos of the new songs here or elsewhere in the coming weeks. If that’s something you’d like to hear, let me know.
Under usual circumstances, at this stage I’d be looking to put together a live band and start arranging a tour for later in the year – who knows when such things will resume? Anyway – as soon as I decide on a name, expect a polite yet forceful barrage of further information.

Bandcamp are waiving their (already small) fees today so 100% goes straight to the artists. Here’s a few recommendations for you, presented without further comment. Listen, buy, download and support the artists! I’ll add some more throughout the day.
Here, for you, is our final Winter Solstice track. This was crafted together from some of the last recordings we made with Paul before he died and I don’t mind saying it captures The Infinite Three at the peak of its cosmic glory.
A final parting gift before the next chapter begins.
In memory of our brother, Paul Middleton.
With thanks and love to everyone who has supported our music since 2009.
Onwards towards oblivion…
Love and rage
It is with unbearable sadness that myself and Sam must let you all know that our drummer, friend and brother Paul Middleton has passed away. We are heartbroken and shocked. We were so blessed to know you Paul. Much love to Paul’s family and friends and anyone else who was blessed to have met him.
Love Breathes, our new single – and the first new music since Ascension Zone – is released today. Play it loud via your preferred method here: https://ffm.to/lovebreathes.owe
We’ve been performing this little hymn of self-surrender at recent live shows. Usually at a body-changing volume. We’ll be doing this again at Artrocker Club in London on September 13th.
Let us know what you think of the new music. It is, as usual, available everywhere but the version available on Bandcamp also features an exclusive virtual b-side in the form of a live recording of the song Dawn Accelerator. May the way out be as sweet as the way in.
We are pleased to announce that we’re headlining Artrocker Club at Aces & Eights, London on Friday 13th September. We’ll be performing some new music along with songs from Ascension Zone, Innocence and other chapters in our slightly confusing history. You’ll also be treated to some post-punk noise from Repo Man and some riff driven noise-rock from Modern Technology.
Friday 13th September from 7.30pm. 156-158 Fortess Rd, Tufnell Park, London, NW5 2HP.
Tickets are £5 in advance from here. Or it’s £7 on the door. Attend and ascend!!
Drum Drum Drum / The Compact Mass, our new single, is released today. We encourage you to listen to it here: https://ffm.to/drumdrumdrum using your preferred method.

Our new single, Drum Drum Drum, is out on 26th July. Pre-save it on Spotify and get a free download of our previous single, The Eye.
We’re bringing our curated live music night, CLUB GEOFF, to Manchester this June. We’ll be performing new and old music at a soul-enhancing volume. Also performing are Manchester’s own Locean – a darkly psychedelic collective combining cinematic improvised rock with Lauren Bolger’s unique spoken word poetry.
Friday 21st June at Fuel Cafe Bar, Manchester. Tickets are £5 from here.
And here is the Facebook Event page with more details.
Thanks to Prog Magazine for the enthusiastic review of Ascension Zone – “Their most innovative recording so far.” – We are humbled and elated, despite the fact that the only progression in our music is that which hurtles us all towards the supreme non-space of hysterical nothingness. Love and Rage!
Ascension Zone is available as a limited edition CD or an unlimited download from here: https://theinfinitethree.bandcamp.com/album/ascension-zone
